Don’t be discouraged! Don’t lose hope. God is merciful.
We know that God wants to forgive the sins of every man, because He loves us.
Jeremiah 29:11 ”For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jesus will never forsake those who come to Him.
”All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” John 6:37
Important things God wants you to know.
1. That you need to be saved
”For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23
”All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6
”For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
”And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” Hebrews 9:27
2. You cannot save yourself
”Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
”Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit” Titus 3:5
”Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
3. Jesus has provided for your salvation
”For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
”For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5
”For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit” 1 Peter 3:18
”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
4. You can be saved today
”Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24
”For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” 2 Corinthians 6:2
”Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8
Turn from your evil way and call upon the name of the Lord. The blood of Jesus cleanses from sins for every repentant sinner who humbles himself and repents.
”And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:31
”I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” Luke 13:3
”Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19
Confess your sins to God
”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Simple prayer
”Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and lead me on the right path. Forgive me my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. Amen”
